Industry-Specific Solutions [Web Camera]

Industry-specific solutions for web cameras are the optimal solution for evaluating web cameras in accordance with international standards.

Evaluation of Webcams Compliant with VCX VCX (Valued Camera eXperience) is a non-profit organization specializing in the objective evaluation of camera quality in mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, notebooks, and drones. To help consumers choose the optimal device, it has established a standard for objective evaluation, the VCX score. The VCX score aims to allow comparisons of camera accuracy and performance. A high score indicates excellent camera performance for consumers. The VCX score serves not only as a comparison system but also as a guideline for the industry to develop better cameras. Since VCX is an open and independent evaluation organization, anyone can access VCX's evaluation standards and create their own evaluation environment. Image Engineering provides evaluation systems for building independent evaluation environments or becoming a VCX-certified test lab.
